Fragments

To explore the basic structure of serif and sans serif letterforms, students create two compositions with 2" fragments of four serif and four sans serif letters placing them in four rows of four letters each. They can rotate and rearrange the fragments as they wish to create an interesting visual statement. (Sevonne Tuvia, 5.08)
