Pattern & Contrast

In the first of two pattern and contrast exercises, students discover pattern and contrast in type design features. They choose four different single letters or numbers from a limited number of typefaces permitted. Working with each of the four letters or numbers they create four different patterns by repeating the letters/numbers.
